We’re Joe and Alex — a couple who fell in love with each other and the world around 2017. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to travel as much as we can, exploring new destinations, cultures, and cuisines without ever compromising on comfort, safety, or style. We’re based in Cheshire with our Cavachon, AJ, who joins us on our UK adventures.

Joe’s favourite place is South Africa — especially Cape Town, with its incredible wine, beaches, and views. Alex’s heart belongs to South America, where our time in the Amazon Rainforest changed how we see the world. We haven’t travelled abroad with AJ (yet), but she’s explored the UK with us, from the Cotswolds to the Scottish Highlands.

We love good food and discovering great wine — if you’ve got suggestions, tell us on YouTube. When we’re not travelling, you’ll find us in London catching up with friends or planning our next trip. Recently, we’ve fallen in love with cruising, especially Virgin Voyages — we’ve done two already and spend far too much time browsing their website planning the next.

It’s all about levelling up your experience without paying more.

We spend a lot of time in Germany — especially Berlin — because we love the vibe, diversity, and culture. But we’re equally at home on a long-haul flight heading somewhere new. Joe’s a bit of an aviation geek, always planning routes that include new aircraft types, while Alex’s passion lies in finding that perfect hotel — great design, a central location, and a touch of luxury.

We love languages and always try to learn a few local phrases wherever we go — it’s the best way to connect with people and cultures. This blog is our way of sharing everything we’ve learned: how to travel smart, stay safe, and find beauty in the details.
